A brilliant way to spend an evening: Zooming with the 5th Giffnock Guides.
What a kind, smart, thoughtful bunch. It was really a pleasure to speak to them, and I enjoyed learning all about the girls and the question and answer session which made it very clear to me that the future’s in very good hands.
Thanks also to their brilliant leaders - all the leaders of groups like this which are helping our young folk stay connected during Covid are doing a fantastic job.
And it was a lovely blast from my own (very) distant past as a Guide - especially singing #Taps at the end.
